Drawn from a tight selection of Sea Island, two-fold poplin, oxford, and a small Italian-spun twill we have stocked for nineteen seasons. We carry fifteen cloths at a time and rotate them slowly.

Everything below is bespoke work, commissioned in person at the atelier or with one of our partner tailors. Nothing is sold from a shelf, nothing is shipped the same week, and nothing is finalised without a fitting. The page reads as a workshop catalogue — prices are issued only after we have measured you.

No. 01 — The Atelier’s Signature Work
The Bespoke Suit
A hand-cut, hand-basted suit built on a floating canvas with no fused interlining. Cut by Vettor Pisani III at the same Padua workbench the studio has occupied since 1968, then sewn by one of two in-house tailors and finished by hand.

- Hand-pad stitched, full floating canvas in horsehair & linen. No fusible interlinings — a practice retained by fewer than 30 ateliers in Italy.

- Drawn from our permanent archive of 14,000+ swatches — Loro Piana, Holland & Sherry, Drago, Dormeuil — the largest private collection between Milan and Venice.
- Construction
- Hand-basted lapels, hand-pick stitched buttonholes, working buttonholes on the cuff, hand-stitched lining seams.
- Fittings
- 2.1 on average across the last 1,200 commissions: an initial basted fitting, a forward try, and a final finishing appointment.
- Lead time
- 9 weeks from the first cloth selection. Weddings and ceremonial dates are booked around the calendar at the consultation.

No. 02 — Made On-Site
The Bespoke Shirt
A companion piece, made on the first floor of the atelier by our dedicated shirt-maker — not outsourced, not assembled in bulk. Every shirt is cut from a personal paper pattern we keep on file, and the collars are drafted from a small archive of forty-three house shapes accumulated over three generations.
Collar Archive
Forty-three house collars on file, from the cut-away we cut for a banker since 2009 to the small button-down we made for a violinist in 2017. A new shape can be drafted from a magazine clipping.
Maker
Cut and sewn on-site by a single shirt-maker who has been with the studio since 2011. We produce roughly 90 bespoke shirts a year — each one passes through her hands and no-one else’s.
Pattern: personal paper pattern kept on file, revised at every fitting.
Lead time: 5 weeks for a first commission, 3 weeks for repeat orders.
Minimum order: none — a single shirt is welcome, though clients typically commission three at a time.
No. 03 — The Most Personal Cut
The Ceremonial Suit
For weddings, formal evenings, and the occasions a man remembers in old photographs, the ceremonial commission is the most involved piece we cut. The pattern is drafted afresh each time, the cloth is selected from the top drawer of the archive, and the fitting arc is longer.
The ceremonial commission covers three forms: the morning coat (with stripe trousers and waistcoat, traditionally in grey wool), the black-tie dinner jacket (peak or shawl lapel, faced in grosgrain or silk), and bespoke wedding tailoring for the groom and the wedding party. We have cut for one groom four times across eleven years and remember the date of every one of them.
Wedding parties are booked as a single block: the groom’s suit is cut first and used as the reference, then the fathers, best men, and ushers are measured against it in a second sitting. We typically cut between 4 and 11 garments for a wedding party, with delivery 10–12 weeks before the date to allow for travel.
Ceremonial work is, by its nature, the commission where the client’s relationship with the studio becomes longest. The average client stays with us 11.4 years; the ceremonial client is usually the reason that number is as high as it is.

Bookings are taken in person only. We do not have a counter, we do not take walk-ins, and we do not publish a price list. A first consultation lasts around 90 minutes and is held either at the atelier in Padua or with a partner tailor in London, New York, or Tokyo.
